Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician from Mexico was born to the music-loving parents of her family. She was raised listening to classic Boleros from the past along with traditional romantic and Ranchero songs. Ana is a fan of tangos. She also loves operas as well as any drama. Ana began to learn how to sing and play music at an early age together with her mom. The formal training in singing when she reached the age of 16 old, under the legendary Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. The School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico furthered her education in music. She performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and other cities as a young musician and student. After 2000, she emigrated back to America. United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then, in 2007, she returned to her home in southern California. She currently is a part of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and frequently performs solo of the traditional Latin American music at private occasions. as a music teacher and musician, she is committed to numerous community projects because of her passion and passion for music. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is currently a teacher in The Performance Loft. Ana is privileged to be able to bring to others her passion for the traditional Latin American music. She hopes this can inspire younger generations to preserve the traditions.
