Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish pop and flamenco singer. Since her teenage years she has been a participant in pop music as well as flamenco. She also explores different genres such as hip-hop soul and trap. Pepe Habichuela has described her voice as crisp and sweet but possessing a bit of bite. El Mal Querer gained her fame and critical acclaim after her first album Los Angeles was released in 2017. The album earned her the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. In 2021, her single La Fama with The Weeknd was released. Motomami was her 3rd studio album. She worked with numerous performers and musicians including Cory Henry. The album was released in 2022 as a result of an appearance on Saturday Night Live appearance by Rosalia, the vocalist of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia became the first Spanish solo performer to be a part of the show on Saturday Night Live. Motomami was the sole female in the history of music to be a recipient of the Latin Album of the Year two times, in addition to three Latin Grammy Awards.
